In an unexpected reversal, the Trump administration on Monday granted permits to allow the Empire Wind Turbine project, being built south of our beaches, to resume and complete construction.
Pile driving of the ocean floor is expected to resume in the coming days to support the skyscraper sized Turbines and Substation Platforms (pictured below).

This is not acceptable. There is no way that the savings in power can pay for this project. The marine environmental impact is absolutely absurd.
The wind mills off Block are barely working only a few years into the project.
I am deeply saddened by the decision of the Trump administration to allow the Turbine Project to resume! Where are all of our local government representatives to fight this catastrophic decision?
