About the Garden
Point Lookout provides plenty of sunshine at the beach but not so much in your backyard for gardening. The Point Lookout Civic Association corrected this problem by creating the Community Garden. There are 42 boxes for growing vegetables and flowers. The perimeter of the garden is adorned with berry bushes, fig-trees along with flowering annuals and perennials. While boxes are limited, there is plenty of gardening opportunities for those who want to participate and add to Point Lookout’s natural beauty.
