Last winter, wind-driven sand and debris accumulated on both Bocce courts at the park, rendering them unusable and requiring costly remediation to restore them. To prevent this from happening again, both courts have been securely covered and sealed in shrink wrap for the winter months.
We anticipate that the courts will be ready for use again in the spring, and we look forward to everyone enjoying them once more.
In the meantime, we kindly ask that you refrain from approaching, walking on, or near the courts to avoid damaging the shrink wrap covers. Please also ensure that children do not play in or around the Bocce court area.
