Official Beach Season:
Father’s Day Weekend to Labor Day the hours of operation will be:
Chair Shack / Tag Checkers: 9:00am – 6:00pm / 9:30am – 4:30pm
Lifeguards: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Beach is Open: Dawn to dusk
Get Your Beach Access Tags:
Weekends ONLY starting June 1st to June 16th from 10-4 then every day following at the
TOH office opposite the men’s rest room at Civic Beach.
All residents are required to provide (2) proofs of residency:
A utility bill (ex: water, gas, electric), mortgage showing address or rental agreement
A valid state driver’s license
Chair Shack: – Please read BEFORE using the chair room:
- Each household is allowed to store a MAXIMUM of (4) chairs that fit into your street cubby and (1) umbrella.
- If your chair is too big, PLEASE take it home. Chairs not in cubbies will be removed for safety reasons. Camping chairs are not allowed!
- For your security and to keep the shack organized, we ask that your family name and street must be visible on all chairs.
At the end of the summer season, ALL chairs and umbrellas must be removed or will be discarded by the TOH. Closing date TBD.
Trash:
Point Lookout is a carry on/off beach. Trash cans are provided at all entrances of Civic Beach for your convenience. DO NOT leave your trash on the beach.

Due to the collapsed cesspool situation at Civic Beach, the bathrooms will NOT BE OPEN for Memorial Day Weekend.
The issue is being addressed and they will be open for Civic Beach opening day on Father’s Day Weekend if not before. Thank you for your understanding regarding this matter.
