The Civic Association would like to thank all the volunteers who took the time to come out and plant sea grass and native plants along the inlet revetment area in the park earlier this Spring.
Our goal is to continue to restore this area by planting additional native plants and bushes. We would like to thank Ed Wengler, Brendan Cahill, George Montesario and all those who helped spearhead this effort. We also want to thank the Town of Hempstead Department of Conservation for their coordination and help in completing this effort with our volunteers.
