The NYS Department of Transportation would like to remind all residents that mobile Speed Enforcement Cameras are active in both drawbridge work zones on the Loop & Meadowbrook Parkways.
The posted work zone speed limit approaching both drawbridges is 35mph. Maintain a safe speed through the work zones and avoid fines.
Both drawbridges have been reduced to one lane in both directions to facilitate the replacement of the steel bridge decks. For the safety of work crews and motorists, this traffic pattern and speed reduction will remain in place until completion of this phase of construction in May.
