Civic Membership

Point Lookout Civic Membership

The Point Lookout Civic Association’s (PLCA) mission is to preserve and enhance our way of life in this truly unique place we call home.  Ultimately, every neighborhood’s personality reflects the collective spirit of its residents, it all starts and ends with you.  Your Civic Association is vital in petitioning our local government for projects that range from beach dredging to local street improvements.  Your Civic Association organizes and sponsors Children’s Day and the fall Pumpkin Walk.  Your Civic Association gives back to the community via beach grass plantings and our annual Memorial Day Beach Cleanup.

We encourage all residents to support us not only financial through yearly membership but to volunteer some time to not only the Point Lookout Civic Association but also any of the great community organizations here in Point Lookout.

In closing, we encourage you to sign-up online as it significantly reduces the administrative burden on this volunteer organization.  Please also encourage friends and neighbors to join.  Our strength is in our numbers, collective experiences and efforts.
