Point Lookout Independence Day Fireworks & Concert

The Town of Hempstead celebrates our Nation’s 250th Birthday with its Annual Concert and Fireworks spectacular on Saturday, June 27th, 2026.  The concert begins at 7:30pm with the Fireworks show beginning around 9:30pm.

Point Lookout residents should anticipate travel delays.  The Loop Parkway and Lido Blvd. are typically closed in all directions around 9pm and remain closed until the conclusion of the Fireworks around 10:30pm.   There is no vehicular access to enter or exit Point Lookout during this time.
